Hello!, So recently i bought a packardbell easynote TK81 laptop. 4 Gb ram (Upgraded it to 8) and AMD phoneom(tn) II N950 quadcore processor. But it keeps overheating. I changed the therminal pase and cleaned the fans! Anything else i shuld do? Its running linux mint.

You may need to order yourself a new heatsink, i ordered myself one last night for my little acer laptop as she idles at 75c LOL.

Get a laptop cooling platform and don't sit it on beds, couches, carpets and anything that will block the vents at the bottom.

I've never liked thoes. I will give them a try if noting else works.

those new heatsink and the cooling pad and never look back.

Cant find a heatsink D:

Hi,
Are you sure you set the heatsink properly, maybe it isn't making proper contact.
You can try to elevate the laptop using bottle caps/erasers/DVD cases etc
That should improve the flow. What're the temps like?
