Recently upgraded / replaced my old PC but am having some trouble with the build and was hoping for some assistance.

Specs:

i7 4790k CPU

Corsair h105

2x 4GB Corsair Vengeance RAM

Maximus VII Formula Asus Motherboard

GTX 980 4GB DDR5 x2

AX850 Corsair Gold PSU

WD Caviar Black 1.5TB HDD

Intel 520 240GB SSD

Intel 320 120GB SSD

Put it all together and plugged everything in (as best I can tell this is my 2nd buil) but can't get so much as a bios splash screen. The GPU's fans run and light up as does the CPU cooling kit and the whatever I have plugged into the CPU fan slots on the motherboard but everything else appears to be dead. I don't get a beep / confirmation sound or any splash image.

Have tried removing the graphics cards and trying to get an image straight from the motherboard but have had no luck.

Tried plugging in devices to USB ports and have found they do receive power (headset wireless transmitter lights up).

Possibly dead CPU. Try using a single stick of ram 1st and don't stick in the hdd and ssds yet and check if you can boot to bios.
