Safe voltage?

Hey guys, i've never really tried my hand at overclocking and i want to know what you guys think would be a safe voltage for my GPU, using MSI afterburner.

 

Keep in mind afterburner is in mV, not just plain V

My GPU is a 290x lightning.

 

Also any MSI afterburner tips and trick are greatly appreciated

Specs: 4790k | Asus Z-97 Pro Wifi | MX100 512GB SSD | NZXT H440 Plastidipped Black | Dark Rock 3 CPU Cooler | MSI 290x Lightning | EVGA 850 G2 | 3x Noctua Industrial NF-F12's

The stock bios won't let you go into the "unsafe" realm.

Much higher than you can physically move the slider in Afterburner.

Oh. So i can safely just max out the voltage slider?

 

And i thought i was risking it going +50 :(

 

Edit: I didn't quite realize how tiny a millivolt really was

And just to clarify, 0.1 volts extra is safe? yes?

Anything up to 1.4v should be fine, just watch VRM + GPU temps.
