No, just no.

If there is a computer store near you that will be willing to build it for you then try looking into that.

Building a computer is like putting together a puzzle, as long as you aren't bending or breaking any of he pieces then you should be able to fit it all together and have it come out as it should.

Not to mention that pre-built computers typically are unbalanced as hell, most "Gaming" pre-builts having some crazily overpowered cpu for gaming, and a shitty gpu. (Like putting an i7 4790K with a gtx 550ti) and they cost more than custom building, don't have as high-quality parts (most of the time), and come with shitty cable management and a shitty cheap case.

Specs: CPU - Intel i7 8700K @ 5GHz | GPU - Gigabyte GTX 970 G1 Gaming | Motherboard - ASUS Strix Z370-G WIFI AC | RAM - XPG Gammix DDR4-3000MHz 32GB (2x16GB) | Main Drive - Samsung 850 Evo 500GB M.2 | Other Drives - 7TB/3 Drives | CPU Cooler - Corsair H100i Pro | Case - Fractal Design Define C Mini TG | Power Supply - EVGA G3 850W

I need help choosing a pre-built computer since my parents are too unwilling to make me build my own computer since they're afraid I might break it

What's the best pre-built desktop computer that I can buy for 1000$

This^ is literally what I tell everyone who has doubts about building a computer. You literally have to physically break the parts in half to stop them working altogether, computer components are surprisingly sturdy. Unless you are holding onto a Van de Graff generator, you have almost no chance of "breaking" you computer.

Tell your parents that you heard it from all of us here. Yes, you may quote it from this ENTIRE forum, because this is something that every single person on this forum would be preaching as DOCTRINE if they were reading this post at the momen

"Building a computer is EASY. It's SIMPLE. It's simpler than a jigsaw puzzle. As long as you are patient, steady and smart about how you are building it, you cannot go wrong. nothing short of utter stupidity can stop you from being able to build a computer."

And then come back and we will help you in any way we can to make the most powerful, beastly system you can get for the money.

No pre-built computer is going to give you the bang for the buck of building your own.
Try cylberpowerPC and iBuypower. Still, you're better off building it yourself.

Your parents are dumbasses IMO.

I've noticed some users don't subscribe to their own threads. I auto subscribe to anything I reply to because that's just how I use forums, but not everyone is like that. Huh.

Maybe that default should be changed. Let's hope he comes back and reads all this.

Your parents are dumbasses IMO.

there is a difference between people who are dumbasses and people who just aren't informed that much

just as there is a difference between trying to help someone nicely and being an insulting ass about it.

Next time you think someone's parents are dumbasses, could you maybe think about keeping your opinions to yourself instead of alienating people who came to this forum asking for our help?
