Windows 8.1 Update now forced

I still run windows 8 not 8.1 happy how it is but it seems the 8.1 update is now being forced upon users am i the only one with this or is this for everyone with windows 8?

if you check the Microsoft store you cant buy 8.0 without getting 8.1 update.

windows 8.1 and update one makes it so much better.

Cause it's not and update it's an upgrade. It's also free for all 8.0 users. I don't get why you don't like it since it's just plain better, especially after update 1. If you could possibly go more into that I might be able to help you change whatever you might not like.

You can't get forced to 8.1 as its an upgrade just like going from 7 to 8.

You have to get 8.1 from the microsoft store or microstft's website. This means that you initiated it at some point.
