Can i ask about optical drives here? xD

Aetherslime
Go to solution Solved by Aetherslime,

I would suggest going with a USB optical drive if you can, just from past experience as someone who bought a SATA one (you really don't use them that much from my experience).

I think I might do that. I think they are easier to get too where I live. I have a laptop without an optical drive too, so I can use it for both :)

I am gonna have to buy one for because i preorerd a collectors edition game. How much money do I have to spend? Is there diffrent speeds and stuff lik that on them?

On newegg, search for optical drives, then the first one.  $20 and like 200+ reviews and 4or5 eggs (its always changing).  It is great perfect for most needs, if you want something faster (which you shouldn't need) get a Blu Ray reader,

where are you from? is this a desktop PC or a laptop with no optical drive? if it's a desktop PC just get any old optical drives, if you don't use them much you'll be fine.

I just have to be sure, will the Samsung SE-208DB do for instaling games?

Yeah, it should be fine. To be completely honest, the only difference I have really noticed between optical drives is whether or not they work ;)
