Greetings, thanks for clicking on this post.

I would like to recieve your opinions on the computer I am planning to purchase. Please keep in mind the following, before you comment:

  • I will not play the newest games, and not even year old ones on ultra settings.

  •  The most demanding game that I would like to run is Black Ops 2. I don't mind if Anti Aliasing is off, just like V-Sync and other FPS-hog settings.

  • I will not overclock any component of my system. Yes, not even a slight bit. It's not my business.

  • I've picked the Asus motherboard, beacuse I've been using their products for the past 10 years.

Yes, it's a B85 motherboard. Yes, I will not be able to overclock, but I don't want to anyways.

  • I've picked the Intel processor beacuse I've been using their products for the past 10 years as well.

That means I am not interested in your "Intel killer FX6300" pc. Thanks.

  • I've picked the GTX750Ti beacuse I would like to try nVidia again. The GTX750Ti would be a decent choice for me, beacuse I will not play the newest games on the market, just older ones. Again, the most demanding of my library would be Black Ops 2.

  • I don't need a HDD currently. The one I have right now will do the job for me, but if it fails, it will see an upgrade.

  • I own an SSD right now, but as you can see, my budget doesn't really allow me to buy a new one. I might consider getting one later.

  • For the memory, I've picked the Corsair Vengeance series, beacuse the majority of people on PC forums tend to recommend it most of the time. Yes, it's only 4 gigabytes, but just like the HDD it could see a future upgrade to 8.

  • For the PSU I've picked Corsair again, for the same reasons. The reason why I haven't picked a modular one, is beacuse I am not interested in PC modding and not even looks. I won't look into the case, and that is exactly why I've picked the Logic A32 case. Cheap and enough for me.

Here are the components I've chosen.

Motherboard: Asus B85-Plus

Processor: Intel i3 4130

Graphics card: Asus GTX 750Ti

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 4GB (DDR3, 1600MHz)

Case: Logic A32 (Chances are high that you have never heard of it, there you go: http://www.logicconcept.pl/a32/products/case/ )

PSU: Corsair VS Series VS550 (Please tell me if the power supply is way more than enough, I could spend that money on upgrading the memory now to 8GB)

Also, I have an Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro, I could install it on the build planned, with an Arctic Cooling MX4.

Thank you in advance for helping.

Alex

I dont think that there is anything wrong with the I3. If you dont need more power. Why waste money? :P

Of course I could play on an i5, or even on an i7, but I am really not that interested in the newest games right now. I'm just waiting for Half-Life 3.

The i3 will be enough for me I suppose.

Thank you very much! Also, what is wrong with i3?

It feels like paying a premium price but getting nothing actually worth the extra money. then again, I'm speaking from the POV of an overclocker so I'm sure youll be satisfied with the performance.

Thank you very much for your help! I will swap out that memory to the same brand and series, but 8 gigs, and I'll use the EVGA 500B PSU then. So it's a nice little rig then?
