So currently I have a corsair h100i and I wanted to change the black tubing for red primoflex tubing. I was watching tutorials on how to do it but no one showed refilling the loop in the h100i. Which is the part I still do not understand. I also saw another tutorial where someone just cut down the middle of the tube and put it over the stock h100i tube. Which do you think is the best to do and if you could leave some specifications for the size the tubing will to be for either step. Thanks, much appreciated!

^ What he said is totally true.

-snip-

If you cut the tubing, you're gonna have to fill it, find coolant, get tubing, etc, etc. You might as well go full custom loop, or use Swiftech/Cooler Master's modular coolers.

Yea, the reason why I am doing that is that it is much cheaper then a full water cooling loop and I was just gonna use distill water as coolant. But the thing I am having trouble with is how would i refill it once I get the new tubes on?

If you want to just color the tube you can either plasti-dip the tubing in red plasti-dip or wrap the tubing in a lengh of red primochill that has a split down the back side of the tube.

You can mod the H100i and refill the loop once you replace the tubing but if you are trying to change teh tube make sure you are using a coolant that will work well such as teh swiftech hydrx

Yea, I saw that vid too. That's exactly what I think I am going to do. Simple and is effortless.

Makes things a little easier than trying to remove the tubes on the H100i but it can be done just a lot of hassle, I would say save up for a custom loop if you really like the look of custom tubes, pumps and resveviors ;)

You could get the Swiftech H220 (I think that's the name); it uses standard fittings and is intended to be taken apart.
