gaming and some content creation

Asus PB278Q for sure. Once you go IPS you'll love it forever. I recently got rid of my 720P TV that I used for a monitor for a couple of years and sold some stuff to makeup $300 USD and picked up 3 of these. God I love IPS so much.

Your correction hadn't loaded in by the time I hit "Post".

You can never go wrong with a PB series monitor though.

The only reason to get an ROG Swift is if you sometime NEED G-Sync

For 2 980s, which monitor would you have? The rog swift or ASUS pb287q 4k?

Neither. They're both shitty tn panels and you've just blown 2K on video cards. Priorities mate, priorities.

Gotta love the asus fanboys on here. What else can you expect on a NA forum.
