So I'm going to do my first custom PC build, and I don't know too much on the topic. I would love it if someone experienced could tell me if the components I've picked out will be compatible or not before I buy anything. I already saw the problem with the GPU and the motherboard, so I started to question the other components aswell. Here they are:CaseNZXT Phantom 410CPUAMD FX-8350 black edition Motherboard Gigabyte GA-990fxaGPU Nvidia Geforce gtx 750 TI Memory Samsung Evo 840 120 gb with 2.5 to 3.5 inch bay conv. Wd Blue 1tb 3.5 inchRamKingwin HDM 225  I have not found a power source yet.

Mobo and CPU good. Case good. Go for a R9 280 instead of 750 ti. Go for a WD Green Drive its cheaper and more power effiencet. SSD is good. RAM is not listed correctly so I have no clue.... Power supply not listed go for 500+ Watts and 80+ Bronze or higher.

you can always go to http://pcpartpicker.com/ and put in there the parts you want and it should tell you if it is compatible or not at the bottom, sometimes if its totally not compatible it wont even appear on the list of items

^ Build one of these. Just don't be a knob like the guy above and choose 1333Mhz RAM when 1866 is $5 more expensive. Your build was horrendous. DO NOT use an AMD CPU for photoshop. They don't handle it well. Intel FTW. I am not a fan boy, but rather a realist. AMD is dead in terms of high performance CPU. They can't compete.

Intel Inside. Overweight guy in his 30's outside.
