Hi guys. I need a cheap, nice, 23-24" IPS monitor and I found this. I don't care about 3D feature. It looks good and as far as I know ,it has some very nice viewing angles.

What do you think, shoud I buy it?

Has anyone mannaged to overdrive this panel? What values should I expect?

Price in Romania is $220 wich is among the cheapest.

It's a 60Hz monitor, there is no need for dual link DVi. DP monitors are way too expensive. Tanks for your opinion.

Correct me if I am wrong, but doesn't 3D require a 120Hz refresh rate? How is this doing it at 60Hz?

That's true. I'm pretty sure you can;t do 3D with a 60Hz refresh rate. Alos, If you're buying it for the thin bezels, they are much, much wider than advertised, so it will be terrible for a surround setup

well its beautiful but id worry about it having no vesa mounting for the future incase you wanna mount it...unless there is some attachment the company sells separately

If you're buying it for this 3D, I wouldnt go with it. AOC are a very dodgy company in my opinion. Also, with a 60Hz refresh rate, if this thing can display 3D, you will only be able to game with an effective 30Hz refresh rate, as it will stagger images to display one per eye. you will only be able to play at 30FPS

I don't mind those. Yes, I'm aware of that. I just hope some 85Hz overdrive for my very soon mine HD 7950. Surround gaming is off my budget.

i made sure and bought a monitor with a vesa mount and ive never used it yet hahaha and my monitor is  3 years old :/
