BF4 worth getting at this point?

A few questions.

 

1. Can I enjoy the standard edition with only dragons teeth, or will I have to purchase all of the expansion packs?

2. Will leveling be a pain without dlc?

3. Is msi afterburner still causing in-game crashes for some people?

4. I'm on the west coast, is there plenty of low ping 64p servers?

Yeah bf4 still has a year until bf5 comes out so you can clock alot of hours into it

When they did that free evaluation week a few months back I checked it out.  I really enjoyed the large battles.  After the evaluation ended I couldn't bring myself to spend actual money on it when there are so many other games to play.  If I could pick it up for $10 I wouldn't mind playing again.

Kinda, but it's still annoying with the "Netcode" and the last patch added a major FPS drop for a lot of people and added invisible barriers in a lot of doors you need to jump over, Objects and minor curbs on the ground also cause you to get stuck.

 

The new damage model has also rendered any gun under 750rmp pretty much useless, especially against people using the defense perk.
