This is an update log about my build upgrade situation

THE SYSTEM I HAVE RIGHT NOW

My disgusting system after 3 weeks of not cleaning

CPU: Intel Core i7-2600K Quad-Core processor 3.4Ghz

Motherboard: ASUS P8Z68-V

Memory: Corsair Vengeance 16gb DDR3 1600MHz

Storage: Intel SSD 335 series 240 GB, Seagate 2TB 5400rpm Drive

Case: Antec Lanboy

Sound card: Xonar DGX

Graphics card: PNY GTX 580 1536MB 384-Bit GDD5 PCI Express 2.0x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support with CPU cooling

Power Supply: Corsair AX 750 -80 PLUS GOLD

This thing is a dust magnet. And also I have few overheating issues and what not.

WHAT I WILL BE UPGRADING

Case: NZXT H440(Red & Black edition)

Graphics card: MSI GTX 980 Gaming 4G

Possibly a new monitor(Using duo SyncMaster SA300 21.5' monitors but want something bigger)

This is where it gets tricky. I want to experiment with custom water cooling.(Matching the case with red tubing and maybe red graphics card backplate)

However, given the spec I have set up right now, should I not bother with it and just go with standard liquid cooling set up?

There is the refurbished deal from newegg for Corsair Hydro H100i right now.(should I just take this deal?)

What would be the advantage of going custom water cooling over the standard liquid cooling system?
