i just got a raspberry pi b + and i installed noobs gone to put power in and hdmi and nothing the pwr and activity lights are on but no flickering there just on im on a 800ma power supply, but i  think this could be a problem! on the tv it just says no signal help?

Do you have a power brick that supplies more current? And also make sure your SD card is inserted all the way.

That is actually quite offensive. For all you know I could be dislexic, but what do you know? Just because I was on my friends phone and was in a rush to get it working, does not mean I'm a incoherent fourteen year old child. If you decide to critise me then you should be perfect!! And finially what does it matter if I'm from the uk? What can others not write in "coherent" English?

If you're 'rushing to get it working,' and can't take the time to at least punctuate a sentence (even on a phone) when you're asking for help, you probably shouldn't expect a very serious response...

 

Are you sure you're on the right input on the TV? Are you sure you extracted the n00bs files to the SD card, and didn't just copy the .zip file?

Okay, I think your problem is that you installed NOOBS incorrectly, you cannot simply move or copy the files to your SD, you must flash it to the SD, if you don't know how to do this look it up on youtube.

Got it fixed, I was using the wrong format it has to be FAT32 and I just wish people would stop critisizing me i don't have a great deal of self confidence and people making me feel inferior doesn't help!

If you'd notice, I didn't call you an incoherent fourteen year old, I called what you wrote incoherent.   But hey...  we all make mistakes, the important thing is to learn from them, right?
