Installing new gpu

Go to solution Solved by Rorgash,

plug and play, and Windows does NOT install drivers for your gpu EVER, gotta go to AMD´s site or use the catalyst control center to do this

hi i am just about to install new gpu i just have some questions. i am changing my old Gigabyte GeForce GTX 260 with Asus r9 280 strix.

Do i need to unplug my ethernet cable before uninstalling my current drivers so windows wont download and install them right back.

Do i need to install new drivers with the disk i got with new gpu or will windows automatically find latest drivers for my new gpu and install them

and can someone give me a link to some site that tells you step by step how to uninstall current drivers so i wont forget uninstalling sometihng
