Last night I noticed my Msi laptop wasn't picking up on my 880m. I tried a bunch of things and no matter what I couldn't get it to work. Stupidly I reset BIOS settings and dug a deeper hole for myself. The reset caused my PC to boot only into the bios as when I bought the laptop I paid extra for windows to be installed on 2 128gb raid 0 drives. The reset caused the raid 0drive to fail. I switched "Sata Mode Selection" to "RAID" set up the two drives as a raid 0 drive, switched "Boot Mode select" to "Legacy" in order to display the raid 0 drive, then reinstalled windows to the raid 0 drive. Now when I load my laptop it always brings me to a screen that says "Intel Rapid Storage Technology - Option Rom". It seems like everything's working alright but I didn't used to have this screen before I screwed everything up. What did I mess up? And how can I get rid of this screen? The food news is I did finally get my 880m working again!
