Hey guys, new to this forum :)

I reside in Australia, and I'm looking for a Gaming PC for approximately $1000 Australian dollars!

I would appreciate if any of you can make one for me! I prefer to buy from local stores such as MSY, UMart (NSW) etc but I can order from PCCG if need be.

Notes -

As you can tell, I will be using this new PC for gaming, and purely gaming. I would like to comfortably run games such as Battlefield 4, CS:GO, Titanfall etcetera.

In regards to peripherals, I will be re-using my current ones for a while until I save up enough - my friend has helped me in deciding them, so peripherals are not needed to be included in the budget.

I am upgrading because I play games as a pastime and hobby. I'd like to play the current and upcoming Triple A titles; my previous PC - (Pentium + GT 9500) just wasn't enough to even run games such as Payday 2 on 720x560 on lowest settings!

Side note - I'd really prefer to have an Intel CPU

Thanks in advance!

Hey! Thanks for the build! I have done some PC part picking, and after a few weeks I realized the shipping and AUD to USD conversion results in going over my budget of $1000 AUD. Thanks anyway :)

I figured they would, international shipping isn't cheap... and each individual part would amount to a brutal sum, however, it's a starting point. something to look for at said local stores/ AUS websites.

Here is a build for your budget. The total cost comes to $953 but with the cost of shipping it will be closer to $1000. Note that you should probably buy all parts at once from a single retailer because they will combine all the items for shipping, reducing the cost compared to shipping each item individually.

Did what I could old bean. Unlocked i5, CPU cooler and a nice Mobo. R9 280x (wish I could upgrade it, but that's up to you with your budget). No SSD, that should be on your list of things to get first. Case is a reasonable one, though comes with 1 fan only which sucks. I added 4 to counter this 'gashness'. PSU is very reasonably priced all things considered, it will allow for you to Crossfire your 280x if you want to, as will the motherboard.

All in all, this ain't a bad piece of kit. From what I know of the Australian summers; I hope you have a nice AC unit where you intend to use this, I'd advice a fatter CPU cooler. But if you have a good AC setup I wouldn't worry at all.
