I need help with new PC!

Hey guys, I need help figuring out some parts for a new PC. I'll only list the parts I don't have:

 

CPU: Intel Core i7 4790K

 

GPU: EVGA GTX 970 Superclocked 4GB

 

RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro Series 1866MHz Daul Channel

 

CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i Liquid Cooler

 

SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 250GB 

 

HDD: Western Digital Caviar Black 1TB (Will upgrade later when I need to)

 

OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Professional

 

 

 

These are all of the components I don't already have, but I need a reply to this thread regarding if this rig is good, as I'm most likely get some of these parts for Christmas, which is right around the corner. Someone please answer, quickly!

Are you gaming or editing as well? If you're just gaming then a 4690k is fine.

 

Don't get an H100i as it does have mounting issues, get one of the followng: NZXT Kraken X61, Corsair H105, Corsair H110, Cooler Master Seidon 240m. (Kraken being the best and the Seidon being the best deal--in the US anyway)

Personally, I would get:

 

4690k

Corsair H105 AiO cooler

WD Blue 

 

If it's for more than gaming (content creation of any kind really), then you will benefit from that 4790k, otherwise stick to the 4690k.
