the difference is SO minimal so i might as well go 1866. like you get it for 1 dollar more.

That. Plus get a SSD if you can afford it. Something around 128GB should be plenty, even 64GB will make a difference.

Hey nice build and all i just would prefer a bigger monitor but besides that its really nice and all.

(Also i like Radeon over Geforce( ( 7970 really nice) (I have a Powercolor 7970 and it works so well you don't even know what brand it is)

I got a Asus 27inch for 200 dollars and it is 60hz and 2ms response time.

oh lol i didnt really check the prices  where you live...but for the US its a diff..(enough to actually help upgrade the monitor )

well then your build is pretty solid....in the future you should push for an ssd!

No offense ssd are not worth the extra 50-150 dollars. I highly think to spend that on a better graphics card which you will really see the difference. Also you could get a i7 instead of i5 but overall i love your build. If you were thinking of getting a ssd i would upgrade to a geforce gtx 770 or a i7 3770k.

I beg to differ! There is a huge difference in performance. Especially if you use your PC actually for something else then pure gaming.

Yes if this is not a 100% gaming computer and you use this for work i would consider a ssd but i really think a geforce 770 would be a better upgrade.

Also you could use a cooler master hyper 212 plus instead of cooler h100i. I don't really think you need water cooling unless you want to overclock a TON. I have a cooler master hyper 212 and it suits me great. Also it would save you 70 dollars which could be put towards a better i5/i7 or even a better graphics card. (just my idea)

I got a i7 3770 which my motherboard allows me to overclock. (40C not overclocked)

He gets his graphicscard second hand. Getting a 770 instead will probably cost much more then the cost of an entry level SSD.

Also in my opinion a 770 vs 680 doesn't beat using an SSD. Even in my most entry level builds for my clients, the first thing to get is a SSD.

A ssd will benefit you more if you want faster loading speeds in games and maybe a couple other small things. A ssd will SUPER benefit you if you want to use in for like file transfers and other stuff like that. If this computer is like a GAMING pc get the graphics card or just dont get a ssd. If it is multipurpose get the ssd.

The real difference between a SSD and HDD aren't the transfer speeds, but access times. Especially the OS itself will benefit from it.

@iAsuno: Are you planning on using your for anything besides gaming?

yes, it will be our family computer, (though i will mostly use it cuz my mom opens her facebook on her phone and only the 2 of us really use the computer) and schoolwork, documents, surfing and light video editing for school)

Than definitely get a SSD. I'm sure 99% of the users here would agree with me.

Get a "cheap" air cooler like the cm hyper 212 or a scythe mugen 3 instead of the H100i this should free up ressources.

I would maybe look for some better deals to tell the truth like i got my motherboard msi z77a g45 and 8gb of nice ram for only 110 US.

(That is if you are willing to look or wait) (Also i would use pcpartpicker to see if you get that build for cheaper.

i don't live in the US so pcpartpicker is kinda useless for me.
