We are writing descriptive paragraphs and we are allowed no help from the teacher, over half of the class has their topic sentence containing "is" as an infinitive. We are arguing weather or not it is allowed to have an infinitive in the topic sentence. One more thing, we are not allowed to use first, second or third person words. Ex: I, we, you, he, she, us, me

What are you trying to say in the Topic sentence.

Also, it's whether not weather ;)

We are writing them to describe our favorite place to be. My topic sentence is "My office is a spectacular place, perfect for all tech geeks"
