i am just wondering what software do you use to make a clone of a hard drive and what is better?

I assume windows

acronis true image

PartedMagic(linux based, needs a flash drive to boot)

I personally like Acronis True Image when it comes to cloning, it's pretty good and easy to use, you can include or exclude whatever you want from the cloning process. The interface is pretty attractive as well.
