every time i open a world to lan on any modpack and my brother tries to join it says conection timed out it didn't say that yesterday so can you guys please help

ok i'll try turning off windows firewall and i don't think there's an anti virus software downloaded only anti malware which is malwarebytes

is it the free version that only scans or the paid version that has active protection??? if it is the paid one disable it too
