Potential Motherboard Upgrade

Hello my favourite forum. My friend offered me a brand new motherboard for half the store price and i am wondering weather or not the upgrade from my current one is worth it. I have the ASrock Fatal1ty H87 performance motherboard which is pretty sweet because it supports overclocking even though its not a Z series and i am pretty happy with it, it doesnt support SLI however. my friend has offered me an MSI GD65 Z97 motherboard at a very low price. Is it a worth while upgrade? Im a student so cash is a bit thin with Xmas on the way. anyone help me out?

Well getting a Z97+ having a unlocked cpu means it would be sweet. You could do SLI and OC on it.

But if your not gonna do SLI or OC then don't buy it.
