Any idea how I do this?

Go to solution Solved by DigitalHermit,

Port number is dependent on the protocol that you're using...

FTP is ports 20-21 (usually)

Some programs may use a different port... You can check that in the program itself....

I am trying to set a custom rule for fastrack pluss and advanced WMM features on my mynet n900 router. Things is, is that I have no Idea which ports are used when downloading files, what local IP ranges are used, and which of there 2 are used for that, TCP or UDP. Any help?? Thanks!!!!

file downloads use TCP

Not sure about IP range, but I guess it should include your system's IP. For example, if your system's IP is 192.168.100.102, pick 192.168.100.101-192.168.100.103 (this is just a guess)

Ok thanks, but that leaves the problem of finding out the port(s) being used.

Did you read my comment?

I tried using the program but it's too complicated for me. And it won't let me uninstall it now.
