Hello smart people on this forum :D

I am a noob about computers, I know the basics but not more then that.

However I want to built a new computer for gaming, began picking parts to match a budget I had made.

I will give a list of things I want to buy to put into it. As I said before I am a noob so i am not sure if these parts would work together more then the right socket in the motherboard. And I am open to suggests to improve it.

Case: Corsair Obsidian 750D
Power supply: corsair cx 500-80plus bronze (500watt)
Ram: corsair vengeance pro series 2x8GB DDR3 2400MHz PC3-19200 CL11

Motherboard: ASUS maximus VII Formula (socket 1150, chipset: Z97)
CPU: Intel core i7-4790k @ 4GHz (quad core, socket 1150, 88W
graphic card: Gainward Geforce gtx 970 (Ram:4GB, GPU speed 1051 MHz, RamDAC 400MHz)
Storage: Seagate Barracuda ST10000DM003 1TB and samsung 840 Evo MZ-7TE120 120GB
System: Windows 8.1 or 10 depending release date

I am still debating in a need a disc reader but is not sure
about the budget is hard to tell due to the fact i live in Denmark where things are really expensive so it would be around 2600 us dollars this was around 2250 us dollars.

I want to say sorry about my grammar English is not my native tongue

very solid build. like @MasonIsPurple said, there are nicer cases for less.

All I'd say is, consider ditching the obscure Gainward GPU and get one from the likes of Gigabyte, Asus, EVGA, MSI, etc. (I've never even heard of Gainward, never know if it's going to be faulty  :P )

Also, maybe get a bit bigger PSU, in case you'll be upgrading or overclocking.

Other than that, it looks fine.

BTW, what's your budget?

okay will take a look at gigabyte, asus, evga or msi to see what they got.

about the PSU how much bigger due you think would be best?.

due to i live in denmark then i would say it is around 2600 us dollar

Looks good, but you may want an aftermarket CPU cooler. There are some better cases for cheaper, if you're open to switching that.

Good idea, so the cooler do you mean something like this Corsair Hydro Series H80i and i am open ti switch I am just not sure which one to go with then

If you are only using the pc for gaming then go with an i5 4690K.

The motherboard is very expensive. You could get something cheaper that will do the same job.

The CX power supply is low end. I would look for something better from the likes of Seasonic, XFX, Superflower etc.

A 120GB SSD will fill up pretty fast. I would aim for a 250GB at least.

Just maybe get a 750 watt, that'll give you enough overhead for eventually adding in one more GPU, more Overclocking headroom, etc.

Again, all up to you though...:P
