  1. Ah, I should have cheked this out first. Luckily mine is nowhere near as bad as it is a minute into the video!
  2. Ok, so because the CPU is better, the GPU can push out more frames, which stresses it out and cries? That all makes sense, but the whine persists when I limit frames...
  3. So is is the motherboard? Why is it an issue on this one but not my old $50 FM2 board?
  4. Hey guys! So I recenty went from a cheap mobo and 5800k to a 4690k and MSI Gaming 3 and MSI 280X 6GB. My PC is now making a funky noise in game that gets louder as frame rate goes up. I can limit the frames in most games to help, but its still audible and really annoying. Is it the motherboard? I had used the 280X with the old mobo and CPU and didn't notice anything. Thanks in advanced!
  5. Eh, shes needs the faster ram. Still considering it. Whats the deal with that? I've heard that painting or anything will lock in the heat and melt the paint. I don't want to risk two kits of ram for nothing, though. I'm comfy enough to try if i know it should work.
  6. Hey guys! So I have Corsair Vengence Blue 1600MHz ram in my rig. My sister is getting an APU rig with some faster G. Skill RAM. She isn't as bothered by asthetics, and I was wondering if I could swap the heat speaders because the rest of my build is red, and this blue is a bit of an eyesore. Any ideas? Thanks!
  7. Thats what I was thinking, but money is a thing. I'll start saving.
  8. Eh, I'm not buying now. I have some time to decide.
  9. My mobo is mATX, so I'd probably get that cube case they make.
  10. Yeah, this thing kinda sucks. Thats FM2+, I have an FM2 board. So the 760k is my best bet, without moving platforms, but thats basically what I have.
  11. Hey guys! So I just got a 280X 6GB card as an early Christmas present, and was wondering what I should upgrade next. My current settup: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/fVtKGX The cooler, extra fans, and PSU were birthday upgrades back in March. I was thinking CPU, but then I'd have to get a new mobo too Thoughts?
  12. Mine is the Gigabyte one with 2 GB of DDR3 for some ungodly reason. It cant handle 1080p AT ALL. Would that even work with diferent vram?
  13. I'd love to, but it's SOO low power, I don't think it's even capable. Lol, I was thinking about that. No old system, probably save it in case tho. I busted the HDMI, so probably not Thats brilliant, why didn't I think of that? I like the coaster idea more
  14. Hey guys! So I just upgraded my GPU to a 280x. I'm wondering if my 7750 is any use now. I know that with nVidia, you can use a card for dedicated PhysX, but what about AMD?
  15. If is still looks good and doesnt have any dead pixels, why upgrade?
