Hi all,

Rig

FX9590 @4.8 GHz

R7 265 & HD7850 OC 1050 Core 1400 MHz Mem

16gb gskill 2100 MHz

NB & SB 2.4 GHz

H100i 2* stock & 2* NF F12 PPC

I have noticed when playing BF4 that I have 2 things happen, firstly I have random fps drops to like half of avarage fps. As well as this my fps values don't seem to change no matter what settings I have it on, but if I have it on lower settings my GPU usage will just lower it's self and I get no fps gain.

I know this has nothgin to do with temps of anything, CPU is not a bottleneck, can any one help me to understand what could cause this?

PerfOverlay.DrawGraph 1     Try this command in console using tilde key. It will give you and idea if your having unstable performance. If there's lots of spikes you have a problem. They should stay pretty even.

Yes I know, how to monitor fps, and I am having drops. What I am looking for is if anyone knows what could be causing it, and if either of the things I have stated are related.

I have alreayd moitored that with msi after burner, hence why I stated in the opening stament that I knew that my CPU wasn't being a bottle neck, as it's usage is fine and that the GPU usage changes with different setting,

Example on ultra will be at 100% ish, on low will be at 40%.
