What should i get?

Hey guys since its Christmas  i wanted to upgrade my pc 

Should i get A GTX 970 with a Asus VG248QE

or an

i7 3770k with a GTX 970 

 

my cpu right now is a i5 2500s and my gpu AMD 7770 

I mostly play CSGO  but i would like to play Other games 

Is there an option 3? I would suggest a 970 by itself. Your CPU is fine for gaming still (and quite a while yet). Monitors are ALWAYS personal opinion.
