Can anyone that owns this tell me some pros and cons? I have a GTX 780 but I am not going to be streaming my PC gameplay to the tablet, my internet connection sucks. But I do like that you can stream and I'm pretty sure you can record with shadowplay. I'm mainly going to use this for Emulators (DS, SNES, N64, Gamecube?, PS1), and Android games. Should I get this or maybe some other tablet. The only thing I don't like about the tablet is the price, but I heard it's a beast.

Ive had mine about two months now, streamed all of twice to it. It is a pretty beast little tablet the only drawback really is the wifi issues (just google it, its literally all over the place) but once you get the updates and everything its pretty solid.

yeah the wifi SUCKS. Its so bad it's not even funny. Also, its not really optimized for android imho. Just get a Nexus 9.

Wow, the price on the nexus 9 is too much. lol

yeah but the wifi is a serious issue honestly. i can only stream games to it when i'm DIRECTLY next to the router. If i'm in my room, where my phone has full wifi, the shield only gets like a 20% signal and can't do shit. Better spend the moneys.

Yeah, but I'm not streaming games. And the Nexus 9 doesn't have a micros SD slot for extra storage. I think I'd take the Shield over the Nexus 9 at that price point.

Shield is a good tablet for $299 regardless of some gaming gimmicks that it has under it's sleeve. This coming from one whom does not use or buy into any nvidia gimmicks but if I was in the market for a Tablet the Nvidia Shield would be in the top 2 or three on my list of devices to buy. When the time comes that I am in the market for a Tablet nvidia Shield will be an option for me and that's saying allot and I don't care about steaming LOL so I can cripple and consolize my PC gaming goodness LOL as it's just a good tablet to begin with. Android and emulator games aside nvidia should be pumping out some games optimized for this device if you are so inclined to use this device as a gaming console.
