Google account issue

Sorry for bothering you, but I have a small midlife crisis. I recently changed my password which I do regularly, but I forgot it. Thought no problem so I did the whole pw recovery procedure. My recovery Email address has been deleted, it seamed, so I decided to created a new account on yahoo with the same address as given in my google account. But I am still not receiving any mails from google, so I thought I recently added the second layer security to my Google account, gave my phone number etc. I read in several google help posts about being able to reset it to a valid phone number. As you might guess it never ever came so far, even links that are supposed to refer to the recover via phone method link me just to the same page that lets me add some data and than simply says that the mail has been send and if it doesn't work i would try an other method to identify myself.

If there is an android phone in which u signed in earlier,when u go to google account recovery, google will send a password reset to that phon. good luck

good idea, but how can I log of on an android device I can only remove the account therefore removing all the contacts...

you may have to contact google directly to get them to fix it
