dvi is not working

my problem is the dvi does not display anything at all. i unhooked everything to install a water cooler and i come back and it wont work i was using it 20 minutes ago

i have an asus directcu ii 280x, 8 gb 1600 ddr3 ram ballistix , athlon 750k(i know its a bottle neck),750 watt corsair modular psu, 250gb ssd and an acer monitor

Check for broken pins on the connectors (highly unlikely)

Push the 'auto source' or refresh button on your monitor to try and cycle between inputs.

 

Your PC can also detect if a heatsink is not installed properly (not clamped down all the way or something) so maybe double check that.

its a broken pin which is a good thing guess i should have checked that thanks

just checked the back of my gpu both dvi ports are broke... i think i broke it and tried to place it in both
