just to make sure your CPU isn't soldered to your motherboard (by opening it). (Celeron 887 is use FCBGA1023 socket on it which is Ball Grid Array and it must be soldered). if not soldered, then this is may help you: http://www.cpu-upgrade.com/CPUs/Intel/Mobile_Celeron_Dual-Core/887.html. make sure you choose cpu with same TDP as your cpu right now (17W TDP).
