Reformat HD with Windows 7?

I would like to reformat my hd with windows 7. I am still using same CPU and MB will everything be fine with the same key? Will it be a good solution if I have a trojan and want to remove it (will it come back b/c of ip or anything?) (not worried about files, so that fine with me). also will install be same?

Yes, if you reformat your HD with Windows 7 with the same key using the same hardware, everything will be fine. It will get rid of your trojan (as long as you aren't keeping any files that are the actual trojan) and should be like brand new.

I suggest putting Avast or AVG or something on your machine ASAP after the reformat and don't download any files you aren't 100% certain are safe.

Spybot 2 is a good anti-spyware program as well.
