Hi,

Not sure if this is the right site as a whole to be posting this, but will see if you guys can help.

I am currently looking to upgrade my home IT as a whole. Just got new computers, upgraded the wireless, got SONOS wireless sound system (about 30 speakers in the house. IT'S AMAZING). It was wondering how hard it wuold be to implement something to be able to control my lights from my computer/tablet/phone.

I am pretty good at tech, but have never really gone down far into wiring and stuff.

All the lights in the house are currently hooked up to relays and dimmers. They are also (somehow) connected to a panel which i can control all of the lights from (only two in house). I was wondering how hard it would be to make these lights wireless, as well as the normal switch.

I have full access to my router and wireless netowrking, if needed.

The relays are HPM CAT H2D4 Relay Outputs.

The dimmers are HPM CAT H2F2 Dimmer Outputs

Here are some pics of the current setup:

I cant remember the details but there is a open source project for this sort of thing (the internet of things), I think it was called openHome or something along those lines? I believe there are also wireless LED lights you can buy but again I cant remember much in terms of details like brand etc. I think Will from the Tested YouTube channel was doing a setup in his home.

Another alternative would be building something with an Arduino or similar platform but you would need to put a bit of work into learning the device if you aren't already familiar with them.

P.S. Sorry for the vagueness ;)
