Need to upgrade my GPU

So I have an Radeon hd 7870 1GB in my pc and I'm thinking about getting an upgarde on Black Friday. I was thinking I might get a gtx 770. Anyone have a guess as to what the price might go down to?

Don't get a 770, a 970 would be a better choice. I would only recommend a 770 if you already have one and buy an another one for SLI. Either a 970 or a 290 or 280X(770 range)

that's a whole nother $100 which im assuming is out of the OPs budget. a 770 is a great upgrade from a 7870 in it's own right

If the OP can get it......., 280X are in the 220 range and the 290 are in the 250 range....

i would wait for the new gpus in jan as the price on 970 will drop and there will be 380x and 380

I don't think a 970 would go on sale much sense it's new but if it does go down a lot I'll prob get it

yeah, edited my other post ;P. i was referring to the 970 that was out of the budget. R9 series is a better option

Assuming if the OP rig can handle a 290. (Like the PSU)

I have a corsair cx750 psu not sure what the r9 290 needs
