I would recommend at this price range, a intel i5 4590/4690. if you want to keep the amd thing, just up your psu to 750w - 800w so you can crossfire another 280x in the future since your motherboard supports it.

Rigs I've Built

The Striker i5 4590 @ 3.7 ||  MSI GTX 980 Armor X2 || Corsair RMX 750 || Team Elite Plus 8 GB || Define S || MSI Z97S SLI Krait

The Office PC i3 4160 @ 3.6 || Intel 4600 || EVGA 500B || G.Skill 8 GB || Cooler Master N200 || ASRock H97M Pro4

The Friend PC G3258 @ 4.3 || Sapphire R9 280X Tri-X || EVGA 600B || 8 GB Dell Ram || Cooler Master N200 || ASRock H97M- iTX/ac

The Mom Gaming PC A10-7890K @ 4.4 || iGPU + ASUS R7 250 ||  8 GB Klevv DDR3-2800 Mhz

R9 290. Because you're worth it....or whatever. You can afford it at least.

Your build is wonderful!  If your interested here is another Intel/Nvidai build (max bang for buck)

For the Best builds and Price lists here is a world where many points of the price have been predefined already for your convenience!

The Xeon E3 1231 V3 IS BETTER Than the Core i5 4690K and a Significantly better value for the non-overclockers or value shoppers.

The OS is like a kind food, Try it before saying if you like it or don't.

How does this help him in anyway he asks something about his own build. Instead of just giving another build under 800 dollars mabye look at what he made and say where he can save money. What if he doesn't want your cheap case and why in gods name a 1000W PSU, WHY? Because he should really run a r9 290's in crossfire that is so not wastefull god. Sorry but I have been here for 3 days and every post you do the same thing sometimes usefull and sometimes just absolute unnecessary.

@OP: Build looks good for the budget you have.

Any suggestions or advice is greatly appreciated! :D

That is why I posted it. The original post is vague, so vague I cannot tell if he means "I plan to build this" or "I have built this". Either way, it's a suggestion for a better build. And if he did plan to crossfire a pair of R9 290's, nothing wrong with this. At higher resolutions the Hawaii cards do very well.

Well if you read he wants advice so he probably hasn't build it yet so recommending specific parts would be better and he could have elaborated his post a bit but still why the gigantic PSU and why the change of Case. Especially the case is a personal choice some do care about what they pick asthetic wise. Anyway both builds are good but he should take his CPU if he doesn't want to over clock.
