Hey guys,

Just a quick one, anyone know how to kill this bit of software?

It's coming from Asus' AI Suite but can't find how to get rid of it, it just sits on the bottom left hand side of the screen, when you click the arrow on the left side it goes smaller but it still there.

Don't really wanna have to uninstall AI Suite cause it's not that bad but just didn't know if anyone knows a way to remove this annoying part?

Cheers

AI suite annoys me, I just wanted Fan Xpert installed on my machine to control my fans and you get landed with an extra UI that does nothing.

Once you've determined the fan settings you want, I believe you can uninstall all of AI suite and your fan settings will stay.

This is because it's hardware based and the software just programs the chip on the motherboard? This makes sense thank you for the info I will try it out.

BROTHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

And I'm not sure why it is or if it even "actually" works but I remember on my old maximus V gene I did that and it worked. Your explanation makes sense.

Ah I had similar problem when I did a build for my father. If I remember right, I just uninstalled the whole thing and then reinstalled the ai suite without the component that does this. I don't remember the components name anymore though. Just try reinstalling with with only the components (like fanXpert) you really will need I guess...

That is always there if AI Suite is open. Just close AI suite (by right clicking the AI suite icon in the system tray and clicking exit) and that will also close. I recommend removing AI suite from your startup programs and just opening it when you want to check something.
