Enough Clearance?

Go to solution Solved by runit3,

I was wondering if I'd have enough clearance for a PCIe wireless adapter if I went with this mobo and this graphics card.

All feedback is appreciated.

Probably not, looks like the double height card would completely cover the PCIe x1 slot. You may be fine with going PCI >>> http://www.amazon.com/TP-LINK-TL-WN751ND-Wireless-Adapter-Low-profile/dp/B005FUGPP4/ref=sr_1_1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1413984742&sr=1-1&keywords=PCI+wifi+card

*edit* lol I think I may have actually built on that MOBO years ago, that PCIe slot is definitely going to be covered by any double height card. Just grab a PCI WiFi card like I linked above and you should be good to go.

Thanks. I was wanting to go with PCIe for the extra performance increase, but I'd rather have better overall computer performance rather than just internet.

Well the MOBO's NIC would accomplish that, but I'm assuming it's not an option if you're considering WiFi :)  I've got 2 50ft CAT6 lines snaking through my apartment, just can't live w/WiFi, even on AC.

Yeah, I just don't have my own place and don't think Icould get away with routing cable through the house xD

Lol paint them to match the flashing on the ceiling and install them in the dead of night. Would take months for someone to notice :)
