Stop the blue screens!

Go to solution Solved by iain,

I built my first PC last week, was fine for a few days and then I moved house. At the new place it seemed to be working normally (gamed a lot on it yesterday and it was great) except today we got our internet connected and now I keep getting random blue screens that says

DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL (Wdf01000.sys)

I've tried deleting the file but that doesn't stop the crashes. I haven't been installing a lot, I just used ninite to download some things like chrome, steam, malwarebytes, avast etc and that has been it really. Not having much experience troubleshooting this sort of thing I don't know what to do next.

I'm using Windows 8.1

My full build is this http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/QpF6K8

If there is any other information that would be helpful I'll do my best to provide it.

I just want to be able to use my PC again for more than 10 mins without it crashing!!

Make sure you have all the latest drivers. I normal use the disc that comes with the components first because i know there is 99% of the time a stable driver on the disc then after that I upgrade to the latest.

Thanks, I've checked and there were a few drivers that weren't up to date so hopefully that will have resolved it!
