Using integrated graphics instead of GPU.

Go to solution Solved by harrynowl,

P67 chipset didn't allow for use of integrated graphics. You'll need Z68 or Z77.

I have a P67 motherboard (no VGA out directly from mobo), and I have a really old GPU that I think may be worse than the integrated graphics in my i7-2600. How do I disable the GPU graphics and allow the iGPU to pass through the graphics card?

Well.. you could just remove the GPU

but without a video out from your motherboard, you would get no display

think you can de-activate the card and still use its vga port...

What is your GPU?

That CPU comes with Intel HD 2000 which is... Not great at all. You can read more about it here http://ark.intel.com/products/52213/Intel-Core-i7-2600-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-3_80-GHz

you can't - the Motherboard doesn't support onboard graphics.

What's the GPU? You could get a new one, considering they don't cost that much nowadays. (Radeon R7 250 isn't bad)
