Operation Quick Fix

So my motherboard has gone a bit dodgy and no longer accepts more than 1 stick of RAM without failing miserably, as it stands it fails with 1 stick most of the time, so I had to RMA it and set up a bit of a temporary solution in the meantime, I apologies for the terrible photo quality, my phone is supposed to have a great camera (like most phones) but (like most phones) its actually rubbish.

So here is my temporary build with a M-ATX motherboard (placeholding until I get a new one) I have also had to remove a graphics card due to the fact the slot to plug it in was not physically available.

ASUS Maximus V Gene

Intel Core I7 3770

Crucial Ballistix Tactical Tracer 4x4GB sticks (completely overkill I barely use 8GB but hey, the lights look cool!)

Corsair H80I with a failed LED that don't work no more :(

XFX HD7970 (should be two but other one will sit in box until I get new motherboard)

Killer 2100 (old motherboard had REALLY bad onboard lan and this was cheap and out-performed onboard by quite a lot, I realize with this motherboard the Intel LAN is probably as good)

Creative Sound Blaster Recon3D Fatal1ty Champion

Enermax Revolution87+ 1000W PSU

Various HDDs, SSDs, and Hybrid Drives.

Fans are as follows: Front - Bitfenix Spectre Red LED 200mm, Top - Enermax 120mm T.B Apollish Red LED, Rear/Rad - Silverstone Air Penetrator 120mm Red LED

Rubbish photo which made my camera struggle even more than usual thanks to the lights.

Its a nice little board if thats what you want, if you want a big gaming PC with two graphics cards etc I don't think its the best option mainly because of the slot layout and me not being keen on multi GPU setups having no spacing in between them, aside from that though I really like it, onbaord LAN is pretty outstanding the onboard audio is good enough to warrant not needing a soundcard unless your super fussy about audio quality.
