Congrats on your first build! I would say just watch youtube videos about build logs and building computers, as that's how I learned, and I built my PC without any problems, and rather quickly.

Looks like you chose your parts pretty well there. Personally I wouldn't have gone for a CX power supply, perhaps a GS or something, but that's personal preference I guess.

If you need any advice along the way then you're in the right place. If you're wanting general tips, I guess just take your time and do your homework.

Good luck! :)

thats great pc building in my opinion is really fun.  just make sure to ground yourself by touching a large metal object (like your case) and i see this happen too much but when your working on the motherboard put it straight on the box and not on the anti static bag because the outside of the bag is conductive well good luck and have fun :)

Exactly this. Linus has multiple guides that are very informative.

I have similar specs to this but the next level up for some of it like the board gpu and cpu. Try and overclock the cpu. I have mine at 4.6Ghz on the h100i and I dont really go above 50 degrees c at all at full load.

I have been planning a build for about 6 months, doing a TON of different build and all that kind of stuff, but finally decided on this. lol

Good choice for the Video Card, in that price range you would be getting a GTX 660 Ti and the 7950 destroys the 660 ti as well as the 670.
