Things seem fine, I have a Noctua NH-U14S.

Just odd how HWinfo seems to have screwed up 4 readings, Temp4 actually seems not insane, but is still abnormal.

It looks to be that way. But then again, so am I. So who am I to judge? I don't think I have seen that program before.

Nothing reads my A10-7850K right. It's always like 70 idle. Not even the BIOS reads it right it has it at like 50 after just booting. At least I hope everything is reading it wrong.

It's just unsettling when it's dead accurate on about 90 other things.

like archangel said, if that was really the case your cpu would have shut down. As soon as a core hits 100c your cpu shuts down. So it could not possibly be.

HWMonitor said on my previous PSU that my 12V rail was 8V. Now it says the 12V rail is 6V. If that were the case my GPU would not even run lol (Hint: It runs :D)

CPU's are much hotter than normal in the bios for some reason, Mine is also at 50C in the bios but 38-40 on idle on the desktop

Noctua NH-U14S should keep your CPU around 60c-70c at full load. It's clearly drunk.

Almost the same with A8-5600K... Only BIOS gives feasible readings... HWMonitor and Aida have weird offsets... Overdrive has the temperature go down below room temp when the CPU is under load...

Well if you are actually able to get a CPU from 125oC to 0oC than there's a rip in the Matrix, which isn't too likely.

Go Home HWiNFO, you're drunk.

So Temp2,3,4,5 are the CPU cores? Because it lists CPU cores above, and they're far more sane.

So HWinfo has listed the temps of all 4 cores twice? I'm confused, that seems pointless.

The Core #0-3 are the correct temps, the others I'm not sure about, I don't even have Temp2-5.

Temp2/3/4/5 are not CPU related. It is most likely to be a phantom value with no physical sensor, that or a sensor without drivers.

For me, 2,4,5 all seem fairly consistent, they are always there and don't jump around insanely.

The same cannot be said for 3, which sometimes disappears and does jump around insanely like the guys in the link.

So for Temp3, everything fits with that guys problem.

Temp2 and Temp5 are always there and are always around 60c.

Temp4 is also always there, don't know what it is either, but at least it's always mid 30s. Still the hottest thing in my system at idle though, besides whatever Temp2 and Temp5 are if those are actually things.

Guess I'll just resume with life and hope there isn't actually anything abnormally hot in my PC then. It seemed obvious Temp3 was probably fake, but the others worry me.
