Hello community,

I recently bought a new computer(by parts, assembled myself). And sometimes I have a problem described here:

My keyboard lights dim then come back up again, and the computer freezes for that duration(under one second). A friend of mine that I was on skype with told me that he heard me interrupted for that duration(I have a USB mic).

I thought that it was a usb problem so I rearranged the USB`s, I checked all the cables inside the case and thought that it was good to go. Yesterday no events of that kind, but today when I opened a game(Hearthstone) it happened again(keyboard light dim and small computer freeze)

Temps are normal, no overheating or something like that.

Should I worry? It doesn`t seem normal.. I just want to double check if everything is plugged in normally again and again :(

Thanks for the help,

Alex

Make sure you installed your USB 3.0 drivers along with all your other chipset drivers. In device manager you shouldn't see any yellow exclamation

marks. Worst case scenario is your USB ports are bad.
