I'd like to get a 10-keyless keyboard for the better ergonomics, but I use my 10-key a lot. I was wondering if there are any good brown switch stand alone 10-key pads. Thanks guys.

Honestly you'd be better off with a full keyboard. I mean, it'll be a lot cheaper than buying a separate tk. Even more so with brown switches, which I don't recall ever seeing being sold as a standalone.

Either that or just buy an integrated tk keyboard like the quickfire tk. It's not much bigger than a tkl and you've got the best of both worlds.

Yes, there are several and that's my current configuration. I got a Leopold off ebay, but there's a couple alternatives out there.

Here's the one I got: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Leopold-210TP-Mechanical-number-Pad-Cherry-MX-Brown-Gravy-color-/301180559219

And if anyone else is wondering why anyone would ever want to bother getting a tenkeyless and a separate numpad, placing your mouse between them makes your arm's travel distance shorter and makes general browsing more comfortable, as you don't need to have your shoulders as separated as with a full sized keyboard. This + a trackball mouse = pure ergonomic bliss.
