The title says it all. Since Black Friday/Cyber Monday are coming up soon, I was wondering what I should start saving my money for. Below is my build, I just recently got the GPU so I don't really want to upgrade that.

CPU - AMD FX-4100

GPU - R9 270X

MOBO - MSI 970A-G46

RAM - Corsair Vengeance 16GB(2 x 8gb)

HDD - Western Digital 1TB

Monitor(TV) - Dynex TV

Keyboard - SteelSeries Merc

Mouse - Basic Gaming Mouse <------ I love this thing :P

PS: I did not pick any of these parts out besides the gpu, I got them for christmas so please don't say, "THS BILD SUX BRA."

Thanks in advance! :D

I personally don't need more space, i still have about 500gb available, and that's what i was thinking with the cpu/mobo

Sweet, thanks. Is an ssd really that much of an improvement that it's neccessary?

Honestly asking, i'm kinda new to this, why is an ssd #1?

SSD= Solid State Drives.

They will significantly increase loading speeds, like your computer boot times.

Everything will feel much more snappier, but it likely won't increase FPS in games.

It's also much more "reliable", and much less delicate.

The con is that it's a tad bit pricey, so we all recommend getting a 256GB boot drive while keeping your media on your current HDD.

I recommend a Samsung 250GB 840 EVO which is around ~$120.

What do you use your computer for?

Why are you upgrading?

Do you wish to push out more frames, or are you feeling that your PC can be faster?

Mainly gaming. I play Watch Dogs, COD:Ghosts, South Park-The Stick Of Truth, Loadout, CS:GO, TF2, Payday, and a few others I don't play as much. And i'm mainly upgrading for better FPS, but making my PC faster definitely wouldn't hurt :P

If you play some AAA titles, even a Pentium G3258 would be better than an FX-4100.

But I think you should get an SSD first...

SSD is love, SSD is life.

You're missing out without an SSD.

Your parts look good to me.  I wouldn't change any of it yet.

I'd get a new display if it were mine.

You can find a nice 23" for $130-180.
