I have a MSI GS60 Ghost-012 with a GTX 850m, and I am experiencing very peculiar crashing. Whenever I play Battlefield 4 while connected to a monitor, both displays will just stop displaying anything, and the only way to get it back is to restart the system. Any other game can be played on the monitor, and Battlefield 4 works fine when the monitor is not connected.

This is driving me crazy. Please help.

Try seting your gpu to factory settings if its overclokced and does it do it on your laptop while not conected to a monitor and are moitor on laptop and other one same rez refresh rate responce time and so on

The GPU is not overclocked at all, and no, it does not crash while the laptop is not connected to the monitor. Also, both monitors are the same rez and refresh rate. I don't know the refresh rate of the laptop, so that could possibly be different.
