 im not sure if this is the proper sub-forum, (or forum for that matter!) but how do I get the Y axis to be on the left hand side of the graph so that it does not just go right through the middle of the horizontal like that.

Well, from some reason its starting point is set to 1 instead of 0. Fiddle around in axis settings, there should somewhere be setting to set start and end points to axis.
