how to "write" an e-mail address

it may be a stupid question but i stay confused. lets say you need to give your email address on a form in writing. do you add the '@' or dont you? if you dont what do you write when giving the domain. ive always written the '@' but i suck at making a perfect "a".

I always write @ personally, though I think the recipient will get the point.

You have to use the @ and it doesnt matter if its messy really

You could always just write "(at)" and people will get it.

Yeah, you should write the @, it doesn't matter if its neat or not as long as you can tell what it is.

I put the @ symbol, so that they know what I mean. If I just wrote *main address here* atgmail.com then I reckon a fair few wouldn't get it. Assume everyone you work with is an idiot and go from there. When you know differently, then change your attitude.

I just put an a then a circle around it.

Draw a lowercase "a", and then just continue the tail in a circle.

 

One time I wasn't paying attention and did a double loop around.
