Corsair RM650 / RM750, would the connectors be enough?

Fleonar

Hey all,

I want to build a dual GTX 970 system, and, because I have never had a modular power supply before, I am wondering if these two models ( RM650 and RM750 ) would have enough 6/8 pin connectors.

I would probably need 4x6pin connectors going to the graphics cards, or 2x6pin + 2x8pin, depending on which cards i decide to buy.

Also, would the 650 watt model be enough? I intend to do some overclocking, but nothing extreme...

I would also have 1 SSD + 2 HDDs in the case, a haswell i5 processor and a dual radiator water cooler for it, and around 3 or 4 case fans.

Thanks

Ivan

well I do have first hand experience with the rm850 from corsair and they do have enough.

I'm pretty sure the rm750 has enough for dual 970.

although I suggest on looking at some other alternatives like the cm v850 or 750 if they have it. or something like the seasonic x760 (I use one personally been good I just need to custom sleeve the cables to fit my liking).

Live your life like a dream.
